On May 12, 2011, Dr. Liberto celebrated her twentieth year as a dentist.  She opened her practice, originally at 65 Jefferson Boulevard, on September 17, 1991 after graduating from Tufts University School Of Dental Medicine in May.  Dr. Liberto celebrated this career milestone with her staff. "I continue to enjoy my profession tremendously.  Dentistry is challenging on a multitude of levels - there is always something to research and always new goals to set for myself in the profession.  I love it as much as I did 20 years ago - the work itself, the opportunity to continue to learn, and especially the privelege of treating each person who chooses to be my patient.  Each one of my patients is very special to me and I  have a deeper appreciation of life because of my patients."

On July 11, 2009, Dr. Liberto received her Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.  The convocation ceremony took place in Baltimore, Maryland.  Dr. Liberto has been working towards this achievement for 5 years.  She was joined by her family in celebrating this occasion.  To earn the Fellowship Award, Dr. Liberto had to complete 500 hours of continuing dental education credit hours, pass a rigorous comprehensive exam and have been an AGD member for three continuous years.

DIGITAL RADIOGRAPHY IS HERE!

We have begun to implement Digital Radiography in our office.  We received our training in the use of our new equipment on October 7, 2008.  This state-of-the art technology enables us to reduce your radiation exposure by 70% and communicate with you and your health care team much more effectively.  It is very exciting to see how new technology is improving our ability to provide you with excellent care.

8/3/2008  COUNTDOWN TO THE FELLOWSHIP

Just 63 more credits to go until Dr. Liberto completes the requirements needed to obtain her AGD Fellowship.  Achieving this goal has been a rigorous process that began in 2004.  To become a fellow, Dr. Liberto must  obtain 500 hours of continuing education credit  and pass a 7 hour, 400 question exam.  She passed the exam in December, 2007 and expects to complete the continuing education requirements by December 2008.  Then, it's on to Baltimore in July 2009 for the convocation ceremony!
